A Zimbabwean software studio building for the businesses building Africa.
We're a small studio based in Harare. We build software that works the way Africa actually works — and we're building it for the long run.
Our story
Born from a frustration. Built on a belief.
Africube started with a specific frustration: businesses in Zimbabwe were forced to choose between expensive foreign software that didn't fit local realities, or local options that hadn't moved on from the early 2000s.
We began by solving one painful problem well — ZIMRA fiscal compliance — and integrating it cleanly with the accounting systems businesses already used. That work gave us a clear thesis: African businesses don't need imported software. They need software that's built here, for here.
Today we work across fiscal systems, custom applications, AI tooling, automation, and the web presence that makes a business feel real. Same belief, expanded toolkit, growing team.

We'd rather ship something later than ship something thin. The quality of the work compounds — so does the lack of it.

A studio model — small, senior, accountable.
We're deliberately small. No layers between the people you talk to and the people who build the work. The person you brief is the person who scopes the project — and one of the people delivering it.
We take on the projects we can do exceptionally well, and refer the rest. That discipline is what keeps the quality high and the relationships long.
Behind the studio is a network of trusted specialists — designers, engineers, AI practitioners — we bring in for specific projects. You get the right expertise without the agency overhead.
